As we’re sure you’ll agree Lou Moon Lodge is very photogenic. The exceptional scenery of our private bay surrounded by indigenous forest, the birds and other animals that come and go from the area, as well as the lodge’s unique architecture, offer endless opportunities for both amateur and professional photographers to capture magnificent images that will be treasured for years to come.
With this in mind we launched the 2018 Lou Moon Lodge Photo Competition in February. Entrants stood the chance to win a 2 night stay at Lou Moon Lodge valued at €1,000. Photographs entered had to have been taken between February 16th and May 31st 2018.
We received many impressive photo entries, and even one beautiful sketch by Mr. Jerome Mouille. However, we are happy to say that one photograph stood out head and shoulders above the rest… The winner is Mr. Jonathan Ahadome with his image of the sun setting over Lou Moon Bay and our island villas, taken in March 2018. Congratulations Mr. Ahadome! We look forward to spoiling you on your 2 night stay.
Mr. Mouille has also been rewarded with a GHc700 voucher for his lovely sketch, and it will be hung, pride of place, in one of the Lou Moon Lodge rooms.
We have thoroughly enjoyed seeing Lou Moon through the eyes of our guests. Why not try your hand at photography, or any other art, when you visit us next? We would love to see your work!
